Cookie Notice

Last updated: April 27, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how feddi.dev (the “Service”) uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage in your browser. We refer to all of these as “cookies” for simplicity.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

These are required for the Service to function. You cannot opt out of these.

Name Purpose Duration
session Keeps you logged in after signing in Session or up to 30 days
logged_in UI state flag — tells the page whether to show logged-in or logged-out navigation 30 days
csrf_token Protects against cross-site request forgery Session
feddi-theme (localStorage) Remembers your light/dark theme preference Persistent, until you clear your browser

Non-essential

We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking. We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage of the Service — but Plausible is cookieless and does not set any cookies, use device identifiers, or store personal data on your device. For this reason, no consent banner is required for our use of Plausible.

Third-party services

We load resources and services from the following third parties:

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) for typography. Google may receive your IP address and user-agent as part of serving these fonts. See Google's privacy documentation.
  • Plausible Analytics (plausible.io, EU-hosted) for cookieless, privacy-friendly usage analytics. Plausible processes IP addresses transiently and discards them after generating an anonymous, daily-rotating identifier; no personal data is stored. See Plausible's data policy.

How to manage cookies

You can delete or block cookies via your browser settings. Note that strictly necessary cookies cannot be blocked without breaking parts of the Service (you will not be able to log in).

Changes to this Notice

We may update this Notice as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the Service. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
