Terms of Service

Last updated: April 27, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully. By accessing or using feddi (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About the Service

The Service is a managed GraphQL federation platform consisting of a hosted control plane available at feddi.dev and a self-hosted open-source gateway.

The Service is operated by feddi, Inc. (in formation, Delaware) (“feddi”, “we”, “us”). feddi, Inc. is currently in the process of being incorporated in the State of Delaware, USA. Upon completion of incorporation, these Terms will continue to apply to the incorporated entity without further action by you.

2. Important — please read

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce fees in the future, with prior notice (see Section 9).
  • We provide no service level agreement (SLA), no guaranteed uptime, and no guaranteed support response time.
  • Features, APIs, and interfaces may change or be removed at any time without notice.
  • We may suspend, modify, discontinue, or terminate the Service or your account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
  • You use the Service at your own risk. If you choose to use it for production workloads, you do so on the same “AS IS” basis as any other use, with the disclaimers and limitations set out below.
  • For enterprise needs (SSO, SLA, dedicated support), please contact us at hello@feddi.dev to discuss a separate agreement.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration information.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and API keys.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at security@feddi.dev of any unauthorized access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach any security or authentication measures, except through our designated security reporting process.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or circumvent usage limits.
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code, spam, or unlawful content.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the hosted control plane. (This does not restrict your rights under the Apache License 2.0 for the open-source gateway.)
  • Resell, sublicense, or offer the Service as a managed or hosted offering to third parties.

6. Your content

You retain all rights in the schemas, persisted documents, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate the Service and provide it to you.

You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

7. Open-source gateway

The feddi gateway is released under the Apache License 2.0. Your use of the gateway source code and binaries is governed by that license, not by these Terms. These Terms govern your use of the hosted platform at feddi.dev only.

8. Usage limits

Current usage limits per variant on the free tier:

  • Up to 1,000,000 GraphQL operations per month reported from your gateway.
  • Up to 250,000 usage buckets per month.
  • 30-day retention for usage analytics.
  • Up to 10 members per organization.

When a limit is reached, usage reporting may stop but the Service continues. We may change these limits at any time.

9. Fees

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce fees for continued use in the future. We will provide notice before any fee-bearing phase begins, and you will not be charged without your prior agreement.

10. Intellectual property

Except for Your Content and the open-source gateway, the Service and all related intellectual property are owned by us and our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

11. Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use it without restriction.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via the Service settings or by emailing hello@feddi.dev.

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution).

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DATA STORED IN THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR PRESERVED.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

You acknowledge that this limitation is reasonable given that the Service is currently offered free of charge.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in such jurisdictions, the limitations above apply to the greatest extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

17. Dispute resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at hello@feddi.dev. If not resolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, seated in Wilmington, Delaware, in the English language, by a single arbitrator. Each party shall bear its own costs.

Class action waiver: You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. No class, collective, or representative actions are permitted.

This clause does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

19. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them, including in connection with the incorporation of feddi, Inc. or any corporate reorganization.
  • Force majeure: Neither party is liable for delay or failure due to events beyond its reasonable control.
